Recipe Calculation Engine v2: Calculating the hop IBU will now use the gravity at the time of the addition instead of the recipe pre-boil gravity in the IBU formula. Estimated IBU numbers in your recipe will now be more accurate and can change to a slightly lower value (depending on the recipe) when you upgrade to this engine version.

Recipe Calculation Engine 1.2: Calculating the recipe color will now always correctly use the Lovibond value of the grain color when present instead of relying on the SRM value (when this is the only data point), this might cause the calculated recipe color to change when you upgrade to this engine version.
Manual upgrading of the recipe engine is done to prevent automatically changing vital values of your recipes, protecting the integrity of your recipe data. An automatic upgrade to this recipe engine version might happen at a later version.

This version includes support for notifications and e-mail reminders. Get notified of important batch events like "Brew Day"-reminder, dry hop times, fermentation profile steps, and so on.

[Recipe Engine 1.1] Historical batch recipes and non-all-grain recipes must now manually be updated to recipe calculation engine version 1.1 to use the new Total Gravity calculation method released in version 2.6.0. This is to avoid having the calculated ABV changed for historic batches where the user manually had accounted for fermentation additions in the typed Original Gravity measured value
This updates include a completely new system that allows all users to help update and add missing inventory and equipment profiles to Brewfather. This will allow the database to easily include more up to date and accurate details for all ingredients and equipment profiles. Submissions will go trough review before it is added to the database.

Properly identify iPadOS 13
Public recipe library where you can search for recipes shared by other Brewfather users. Located as a new page called "Library" in the menu.
To share your recipes in the library there is now a new "padlock" icon in the recipe designer. Clicking this you can toggle the recipe to be publicly available.
All users can view and download recipes. Upload (and voting) of recipes are for Premium users only.
Text search can be used to search for all the visible text fields, inlcuding recipe name, style, tags, profile name. More filtering options will come later as the library grows.
Be quick and reserve your brewery profile name today, this is unique and will be used to identify you in future Brewfather community features.
The first time you try to share a recipe, you will be asked to create a public profile where you upload a brewery avatar, and choose your brewey profile name and so on. You can also initialize the public profile creator from the account page. Only premium users can create a public profile.

You can now share batches with a share URL similar to how you can share recipes, this will display the fermentation chart and fermentation status of the batch, and allows users to copy your batch copy of the recipe. Now your friends can follow your fermentation in realtime!
